NFL referee tackles a player

Kenneth Darby, running back for the St. Louis Rams, was tackled by referee Garth DeFelice during Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. On picture, it looks like NFL referee DeFelice took matters into his own hand but on video clip, you can see his only protecting himself from Darby who didn’t see him on his way after catching the ball.
